“Ecological Law Centre” requests the joint-stock company “Rustavgas” to react timely

In the 21st micro district of town Rustavi a joint-stock company “Rustavgas” against all regulations has installed gas meters under the windows of a dwelling house, owing to which the local population is exposed to danger. To settle the problem inhabitants of the block have more than once appealed to “Rustavgas” but up today the situation is unaltered. Technical defect connected with the fact of outdoor installation of meters remains irreparable.
To settle the problem the population appealed to “Ecological Law Centre”. Representatives of the centre requested the company to take timely measures.
In case the request of the Centre is disregarded, the juridical service reserves the right to go into court, after which the company will all the same be obliged to dismantle gas meters, as well as to pay money compensation.
