Ecological Law Centre is Struggling to Save the Green Area Strip

On Vake – Saburtalo territory in Digomi Avenue on the green area in the midst of the Highway (opposite the auto filling station “Rompetrol”) the green plantation is flooded with subsoil waters. This process is going on for more than a year. As a result few dozens of trees have withered. The same danger threatens the remaining still healthy trees.

If in the nearest future decisive measures aren’t taken the territory in the midst of the Highway will be devoid of green plantation. Ecological Law Centre has begun to work in connection of the mentioned problem. On the first stage the centre has sent corresponding application to City Mayor Gigi Ugulava to settle this problem as soon as possible.
